Morning all! This is my first trip to my home resort SSR. Got here Wednesday night. I'll try and give bulletted points about our stay so far.
Took ME and was very smooth, bags arrived within an hour of checking and order from garden grocer was ready to go.
1. Upon check in we were told we would be in congress park which was what I thought I wanted, DH suggested we try for closer to the main building. Cm's were very nice and moved us to the springs. We are near the main building and springs bus stop.
2. Cm's have been great so far. We are in a 2 bedroom dedicated since we have mom and I laws with us. After seeing recent posts about room conditions I have not been disappointed,everything is definitely up to par.
3. To say this resort is big is an understatement! It is massive! I don't think I could figure out the layout if I tried. However, I am not at all complaining.
4. Weather yesterday, our first full day, was perfect! Mid 70s.
5. I was surprised how crowded MK was yesterday! I know we are going into a long weekend and I have been here in July but still surprised.
6. Breakfast at chef mickeys was great!
7. Dinner at 1900 PF was new for us. Enjoyed it ok but wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.
8. Took DD to pool and community hall when we got back. They were showing a movie at the pool and while it was chilly for me, dd loved swimming since its snowing at home.
We are headed today to DHS and Epcot. We Will also check out the beach club since DD and I are coming alone in June and staying there. Dinner tonight at Teppan Edo.
By the way...while getting to MK we stopped at Epcot and dealt with our ticket stuff..FIL is military so I was able to get DD 4 day hopper for $140 and I got myself an AP since I needed it for this trip, June and hopefully one in the fall!
