Live From Pop

I will be at Pop tomorrow! Will be doing a live report with pics during our afternoon breaks. We will be seeing 4th fireworks at Epcot if we can get in.

Did you get into Epcot to see the fireworks? If so, how was it?

Sorry for starting the reports late. Mickey internet has not liked me. It would not stay on for more than a minute or two. I would start a long report and in the middle it would drop me off the net.

So anyway on with the report: We arrived on Fri July 4th. Flight arrived at 1:15pm, we used ME and made it to Pop about 3pm. Could have been earlier but the teenagers were hungry so we had to have lunch in the airport.

Guess I should tell you about us. Our cast is Me, DH, teenager 1 DS (18), and teenger 2 DS (15). The boys are all about eating, so food is a big part of our trip!

We checked in at Pop 50's building 2 first floor, nice location ner the pool but not too near. The walk to classic hll is not that bad.

We got settled and then took off for Epcot, where we had decided to watch the fireworks with a whole lot of other people!

We went straight to Mexico for a fiesta margaritta, they don't have them anymore just plain lime???? Oh well got a plain one.

Our only goal for this night was to see fireworks, so we toured the countries, and watched for people to start staking spots for Illumintions. They started early so I grabbed a spot across from Italy and set up camp. All the boys went to the American Adventure.

Let me tell you the special fireworks finale (it was like a whole 2nd show) at the end of Illuminations was the best fireworks we have ever seen. Words can't describe how wonderful it was.

Words also can't describe the trying to get back to the hotel after this show. We took a cab back to the Pop but the traffic was something else! Bumper to bumper all the way!

If I come for the 4th again I will stay at an Epcot resort and walk "home" from the show!

I promise to get caught up on the report and will get pics posted. Today was our sleep in day, after a 2am EMH at MK. We are on our way out the door for lunch.

We just left Pop yesterday. We also had internet problems. I called the front desk, and they took off my charge for the day we had trouble, so you might want to do that, too.

We saw the 4th Illuminations from Canada way, and they were awesome! Before that, we had watched Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Poly Beach and raced to the monorail to make it over to Epcot.

We were in 6318 and 6319 in the Mickey building. If you saw a blonde-haired baby girl with chubby cheeks playing in the kiddie pool and a 50 yr. old woman taking pictures of her, that was us! I'd take my granddaughter to the pool so my daughter and her husband could have some free time, and it was good for all of us.

Enjoy the rest of your trip! We had a fun ten days.

The internet is working ok this morning, so I will at least try to get some pics up before it goes crazy.

We also have had some of the charges taken off when it will just not stay connected.

I'm really sorry about the daily reports guys. I know we junkies need or fix! But I can try to post pics and answer any questions, at least until the 12th.
