Hey everyone....
Just a quick little report from Pop.
First off - YES if you arrive late, your room CAN, and most likely WILL be given away. Ours was and we were put in the crappiest preferred room possible. They put us in 0140. To me, this should not even be preferred - its so far from either pool and all the action. I wasn't happy with it at all once we got there. I had requested ground floor near the happy dippy pool and got this!
I found out that they had us in a ground floor poolside room, but someone earlier didn't like their room, and since we hadn't shown up yet, they moved us
So they couldn't move us until the next morning, and it was seeming like such a pain. I had a grocery order, a fridge swap fridge & coffee pot, and all our luggage. So the next morning we didn't get out to the parks until near 11am because we had to repack everything up - I was worried all the groceries would spoil, so left a note and a $10 tip, and when we arrived to our new room later that night, everything was all set up just fine. Fridge plugged in and groceries in it
We are VERY happy with our new room location, but since we are currently here I don't want to post what room it is.
But let me tell you - HOLY difference between the 2 rooms.....
Rm 0140 - beds were sagging in the middle and not in good shape, holes in the sheets and the comforters were worn very thing, and one had red marker all over the inside of it
New room - brand new quilted top mattresses that are VERY comfortable, better quality sheets and comforter is much much newer.
The 2 rooms just seem like night and day in quality.
Room 0140 would have been good if you drove a car, as it was next to the parking lot. Also if you don't plan on swimming, as it is quite a piece to the pools, and in cooler weather, running wet in a swimsuit in that weather is NOT fun (trust me - we did it the first night and FROZE). Also if you don't plan on using the main building a lot, it would be an ok location. To me, NOT preferred.
But now we are in a great location, and what I would consider preferred to be! Also, we are near the pool and not hearing ANY noise at all. Its very quiet!
