We arrived at 8.30pm Friday.

Flight with US airways fine Manchester via Philadephia. 1st flight late arriving so we had 1 hr to make connection - we made it just!

We had booked a int SUV with dollar (USrentacar)DH is dollar express member and I had done the pre registration online and we also had the free upgrade voucher that was on here a few months ago (BJ club). Went straght to kiosk in garage and they had a massive white chevy traverse on VIP hold for us. We were away in 5 mins.

Staying at Floridays resort in a huge 3 bed condo. Got a nice lake view from balcony.

Just ate at resort cafe and bed on Friday.

Saturday we had breakfast at Ohana at 7.30am which we all enjoyed then Walmart and a pedicure for me.

We had lunch on the balcony and then a swim. Pool was cold. It was 80 degrees I think most of sat but cloudy so hopefully in the sun the pool will warm up.

Around 5 we went to Seaworld just up the road for the Spooktacular. DD went as a witch. It is on weekends in October - inc in normal admission.Busy lots of locals in.

There was a nicely decorated trail and DD collected candy. We also saw shamu rocks for the first time which we all enjoyed.

For tea we collected a pizza from Flippers on Westwood Blvd. It was really busy but the pizza was excellent as usual-we ate in the room.

Then bed for us all about 10 as we were shattered - my DD was almost asleep stood up.

Low of the day was DD managing to run into the closed patio door to the balcony. Luckily she is ok apart from the bruise on her forehead!

Plan for today (sunday) is orange picking at showcase of citrus in Clermont, swimming and a trip to toys r us for DD. We have a reservation at Texas de Brasil tonight for Dh's birthday. Looking forward to trying it - have wanted to go for a while and never made it so far.

Great start (apart from the patio door, ouch)
Hope to see you next week :goodvibes

Yesterday (Sunday) we woke at 5.30am.

Had breakfast at Ihop on 192 which was good. DH had the all u can eat pancakes they are doing as an October special. I had a coupon for a free breakfast for sign up to their email club so it cost $20 plus tip.

We went on to Showcase of citrus on the 27N at Clermont. Picked some oranges, grapefruit and keylime and fed the chickens. I'd bought a groupon for the 1hr swamp tour on the monster truck and booked for 10am but it wasn't running til 12.

We had a drive up to the citrus tower at Clermont and popped into Walmart then back for 12. Some people were late so we eventually set off 12.30.

It was good, DD enjoyed it. We saw 3 alligators and fed the cows oranges.

We had a late lunch at five guys burgers nr Florida mall. Excellent burgers and cajun fries.

We then went to Toys r us nr the Florida mall - DD v happy with her purchases. Spent $40 on stuff that would have cost £50 in toys r us at home.

DH then did his usual look around Best buy, Comp usa and costco(you can get in on a uk members card) for any electronic deals. Just got an external hard drive.

We went back to the condo - DD played with her toys I had a nap.

Still stuffed from lunch we have moved Texas de brasil to Friday.

We went back out later for ice cream at Coldstone creamery and a ook around Celebration - took some pics of DD at the pumpkin patch.

Today (monday's) plan is breakfat at perkins or bob evans, Legoland and Mannys for tea.

Did you join Mannys email? I did last night and got a free starter, not sure we will make it next week but no date on it so will use it next August.
Never been to Ihop, we rarely eat breakfast, this trip we have it included with the hotel, I do like Cracker Barrel if we ever do go out for breakfast.

Glad you are having a good time. Hope you enjoy Legoland. We re going there for a day next month and hoping it will be enough time to see everything.

Mannys was the only one I didn't join - saw the free appetiser mentioned on the receipt. had a great meal there tonight - wouldn't have managed an appetiser and was kids eat free night.

Had a great day.

Woke up at 6.30am - getting better.

Had breakfast at Perkins jnc I4/hwy 27. Good food but busy - lots on the way to legoland. My breakfast was free for joining the email club so breakfast only cost $18 plus tip.

Got to legoland just before opening at 10. Parking was $12.

Park wasn't busy, most rides walk on - longest we waited was 15 mins for two rides.

We all enjoyed it, did almost all the rides and saw the pirate waterski show. Most of the rides are aimed at young children - really suited DD who is 5.

Had taken food for lunch - was no bag check so you were fine to take in food. Bottled soda was $2.50. most food options seemed to be burger/hotdog plus a pizza buffet place.

They have kept part of cypress gardens - didn't get chance to wander around the gardens though. We left just before closing at 5pm.

Called ahead as we left legoland to Mannys chop house at Haines city and were seated on arrival. Had a great meal and fast service. DH had 14oz sirloin with mash, me 10oz. DD had pizza and fries - was kids eat free night. Came to $38 plus tip.

Quick stop at publix and target at Posner park then back to the resort for 8pm.

Will try and post some pics of legoland.

Tomorrow was planned as universal - just discussing with DH as rain forecast for tomorrow. Weather today was warm - low 80's but cloudy with a touch of rain as we were leaving Legoland.
