Hi all! We're just wrapping up a 5 day trip. Our 1-bedroom is in terrific shape and may be my favorite of all the rooms we've stayed in. It has a great view of the water and HH.

Check-in on Sunday was the most crowded I've seen (still only took 15 minutes.) The resort is packed with people escaping the North.

Food at Olivia's is better than ever, as is the bus service. Park crowds are low; we've been able to walk on most things. Cold weather has kept some people away.

My only regret is that we have to leave tomorrow!

I can understand this ! Glad you're having a nice time Jodifla and thanks for reporting in with us. Wish I was there ! :wave2:

Thanks for the update. We, here in Wisconsin, cant wait to escape this frozen tundra. Glad to hear that you had an enjoyable trip. What villa did you stay in?

Let me re-phrase my question-not what villa did you stay in as I see you were in 23 I meant to say did you get to your room right away or did you have to wait. And what time did you check in.

Sounds like you are having a great time! Enjoy the weather and thank you for posting!:)

We checked in right at 4 p.m. on Sunday, so our room was ready. We hadn't requested anything other than nonsmoking, though. The great room was just luck of the draw. I've only had one room I wasn't crazy about in the eight years we've been boing, and luckily, we were only there one night that time.

While riding the buses, we met up with several people who had rented points (one even from ebay!), and they were all quite interested in how DVC worked and how we liked being members. They felt very spoiled by the accommodations at OKW. We were even chatting with people at Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom, and when they found out where we were staying, they asked quite a few questions about DVC. They were staying at the Animal Lodge, but weren't that wild about it. Especially when they found out we had a one bedroom accommodation...

Glad you are having fun at OKW. Isn't it funny how "cold" is a relative term? It's been zero here, school's been delayed many mornings this week so the kids don't freeze waiting for the bus... Sixty degrees sounds pretty good to me right now!

We'll be back on March 12th... I can't WAIT! Thanks for the info!
