Hi Everyone

We're about 90 miles from Port Canaveral in 4'-8' seas with a slight roll on a clear night. We (Dis'ers) didn't have a planned meet but we all ran into each other in the terminal. It was kind of cool putting a face to the screen names.

I'll try to post a little something each day as I check my email.

We noticed you left a bit late today from Port...any problems?

Hi Everyone

It's a bright sunny day here on the Magic. The cruise is going very well. We did leave port a little behind schedule but I don't think it was due to late passengers. I don't think anyone really noticed. The Coast Guard had to intercept a couple small boats while we were going down the channel but it didn't slow the Magic.

There was an interfaith Easter sunrise service this morning at 6:30 and my DW was one of five in attendence. Also, there was a Catholic Mass in the Walt Disney Theater at 10:00 which was very well attended. I'd say the theater was almost 2/3 full.

The ship was decorated during the night with Easter decorations and balloons. The "I'm late!" rabbitt was seen in the atrium for the younger cruisers. The Oceaners look like they're looking for eggs.

Captian John spoke at the show last night and advised that we have 2500+ passengers onboard and I think at least half of them are on Deck 9 having fun in the sun. Sorry to those of you at home having less than perfect weather.

To pal2Pluto, I meet Ashley24 while in line waiting to board, but I haven't seen her since we left port. If I do see her, I will pass on the message.

My DD is having the time of her life with DCBrown's DD and cousin. Today is her 14th birthday and she is looking forward to getting dressed up for the semi-formal dinner. This may be the only time we get to see her because of all of her social engagements.

Going up to check out the Segway now.

May The Force be with ME.

be sure to let us know about the segways! can't wait to try those. also, this being our first upcoming cruise, when you use a computer in the internet cafe, is there a charge? and if so, how much? thanks!:p

The Internet Cafe can be used for a fee. You can either choose to pay by-the-minute or pay a flat rate for the entire cruise.

By-the-minute rate is 0.75 cents per minute of use after you sign onto the terminal.

The flate rate is 39.99 for 3/4 day cruises and 89.99 for the 7 day.

If you plan on using the internet for mush at all, the flat rate is the way to go. At 0.75 per minute, you would only get 120 minutes of usage for the same rate that you could have unlimited usage.

thanks, ThreeCircles! the flat rate would be the way to go. is it difficult to get to use a computer? or, are they fairly crowded? thanks!:p

Lucky you......have a great cruise!!!

Happy Easter!! There is no better place to spend it than a Disney cruise. :D :D
If you see Cruise Director Rick, please tell him that Barb & Tony said hello! And if you happen to chat with Captain John, please tell him that we said "hi" too. He will be off the Magic by the time we sail on May 24, and Captain Thord will take his place (and Rick will be "abandoning ship" too so we will have Cruise Director Jim).

Han Solo - Have a wonderful cruise and thank you so much for the posts, they are great. One question: We've recently gotten feedback from someone that they have changed the rotation for dinners, i.e. Formal night is no longer on Sun. and now Sun. is semi-formal, etc. Can you let us know which way the rotation has actually changed, appreciate it. Thanks again for your live onboard posts. Enjoy the remainder of your cruise. Bon Appetit!:) :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hi Everyone

It's another bright sunny day here on the Magic. The seas have calm down to about 3-6 foot swells for a nice gentle roll. Deck 9 is begining to fill up and other activities are cranking up.

Last night was the semi-formal night which we were in Luminares(sp) which we celebrated DD's 14th birthday. John from Scotland is our Head Waiter and did a great job of embarassing her by making her stand in her chair while the rest of the servers in the dinning room sang "Happy Birthday". Then John attempted to serve her first bite from the cake but as "luck" would have it, we hit a large swell and the piece of cake ended up on her face.

The Segway is a blast. It was easy to learn to ride. You are able to ride for 10 minutes for $15. Do this activity before you try out the drink of the day.

Have to go now. I will try to post some later today.

What is The Segway anyway? Think I missed that post. Can you please let us know in more detail about the Atlantis Sub, would appreciate it as we are booked on that one also.

Enjoying your posts a lot and thanks for sending them and taking time to do that for us. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. Glad the weather is holding out for you. Thanks again for the posts.
