Live from DL

Well we have been here since Sunday evening and experienced the down pour at the park. We had a Jungle Cruise boat all to ourselves. We had to sit in the middle as water was pouring in from every direction. It was great. We wanted to ride it since it went down for rehab on Monday.

The weather was great on Monday as well as today. Most the rides have been less than 5 min. wait for us or we walked right on. We were dreamed yesterday and today with fastpasses, however we did not need them. Today was a special dream event at I believe CA. We saw several people with the special lanyard/passes however we did not get these.

We were upgraded from our standard room to a DTD room in the Dreams tower. I did put in a request and we got it!

We went to Lilo and Stitch's for breakfast yesterday morning and it was great. We saw Pluto, Daisy, Lilo, Stitch and Minnie. We had plenty of character interaction and the food was great.

We saw lots of characters in the park over the last two days. A couple of new ones for us were Captain Hook, Dopey, Snow White, Brer Fox and Brer Bear.

That makes sense, I was surprised to see the lanyards/passes as the other event was two weeks ago. I would have spent more time in DL today had I known the event was going on.

We were enjoying a little soak in our hotel's hot tub during the down pour. That was something, eh? Glad it didn't rain the entire time we were there. We experienced a few strong but short-lived showers. Very pleasant the rest of the time.
