Live from Disney! (with pics)

Rob, thanks for the update and I hope both of you are feeling 100% yourselves sometime soon. You guys are going to make awesome parents:) Good luck and here is hoping that you will hear the pitter patter of little feet (or really the crying of a baby) sometime soon. I loved the picture of your house with the dog on the front porch. I know your pets were glad to have their mama and daddy home:) Be careful and don't freeze in the snow (I know Cass says you get really cold) and please keep it up in Canada as we don't want it in KY. Love ya and please keep in touch.

I was just getting sick just as you guys were saying that you were getting sick. I was up coughing all night, right after I read about you guys up coughing all night the first night on the ship. So boy, do I feel for ya! Mine is just allergies that has moved down the bronchial tube in my chest, so at least no body aches or weakness or fever that the flu brings. But I totally lost my voice at about the same time(s) that you guys did...talk about deja vu?? :goodvibes

Thanks again for all you did. We are looking forward more than ever for our trip (first cruise) that we are leaving for 3 weeks from today! Hope you feel better, and cannot wait to see the updates on your site. I especially LOVE the videos! If I don't get to see them before our trip, I will love to see it after as well! My DS3 loves them too, so we will be looking forward to them!

Thanks for the update and final thoughts (Rob). I'm so glad you are home and have seen a doc! No doubt, you will be better soon. I'm sad to see this TR end... Take care!

Thanks for the update Rob! Loved seeing your house and dog. Snow- sigh- it'll be here soon too.

Thank you guys for taking the time from your vacation to let us all "tag along" it was a lot of fun. What a dream vacation- wish we could do that. Maybe someday when the kids move out!

I hope you guys feel better soon- if you think of it let us know how you make out at the dr's. Poor Cass has been sick for a while now huh? I have to tell you this, I actually had a dream that Cass called me!! :rotfl: That is how into this thread I have been :rotfl2:

You guys are awesome- definately the kind of people I'd hang out with if we were neighbors! You'll make fantastic parents- what a lucky baby you will have!!! Take care!

Cass & Rob, I've really enjoyed your trip reports live from WDW and the Cruise. Feel better very soon, and I hope that you and Cass will have a big announcement for the DISboards in the very near future!

That totally sucks about the snow!!! We are lucky in TO to be having a 'heatwave' - it was 20 degrees yesterday and sunny and supposed to be the same today - imagine, in November no less. I figure we will have to pay for it later - but heck the mayor can just call out the National Guard right - LOL ;) Anyway, glad to hear you are home, sorry to hear not so 'safe and sound'. Hopefully you both are on the mend quickly and feel like yourselves by the weekend. Can't wait to see the updates to the website, you guys are an inspiration to someone who still hasn't downloaded her Sept WDW pics from the digital camera to her computer  Oh well, if you can't live vicariously through others, what can you do!!

So, take is easy and thanks again for a very memorable couple of weeks!

PS- I would still love to hear your thoughts on WL and the standard room specifically (did the view really suck?). We are booked standard in Feb and I would love some feedback. Thanks!

SO many have said it already, but thank you guys for this trip report. It was so much fun following you through your adventures for the past week (i only found the thread last week!) Wishing you both a speedy recovery and hoping also to see a posting in the near future about a new addition to your family!

:goodvibes

Wow!!! :paw:
What a beautiful dog. Tzar you're gorgeous!!! Uh, we have a shephard too...called him Silly. Actually most times I call him Silly Dawg. :goodvibes
Anyways, hope you are feeling better. :wizard:

thank you for allowing us to share a little piece of you. it was a moving experience for me. i actually feel like i know you guys. and they lived happily ever after...

No Robb, THANK YOU and Cass for taking us along on your magical vacation. :teeth:
It has been so fun. I am so sorry you guys got sick. It scares me a bit wanting to take a cruise.
Seems everyone always comes down with something on them.
P.S Thanks for the snow picture. I am looking forward to it here in Pa.
But is does suck to come home to it after being in Fla. :sunny:
Take care! :wave2:

Wow! I just discovered this thread this morning and I read your entire report in one sitting. What an amazing trip! I am so sorry you were sick at the end but it sounds like you still had a fabulous vacation. Enjoy your journey to parenthood. There is nothing like it!

Take care,

I knew I liked you guys for a reason - growing up my dogs name was Czar - and now I have a shepherd, Bailey (see my sig)

Thanks for sharing and get well soon :dog2:

Heya!
I am still in rough shape but better than yesterday (not hard to do) so since I am not really up to going anywhere today and we have 3 thousand loads of laundry to do and it's right around the corner from my desk I thought I would post a few photos that I scanned. :rolleyes1

It's not a Disney background but we ended up liking this one, more of a casual type pose.

And this one is our fave from Formal Night.

I am going to post two photos of the scrapbooking stuff I bought over on the SB board now if you wanna check that out too.

Then I promise I will do a summary post (hopefully you all aren't sick of me posting yet LOL) later today!

Sick of you posting?!?! I'm gonna miss not reading your "stuff". You and Rob are both EXCELLENT writers. And the pictures were awesome as well! Thank you so much for sharing these 3 weeks with all of us here on the boards.

And, let me just say, the two of you have such love and respect for each other. Wish there were more of that in this world. Plus, you have so much fun with each other. Good luck with conception. You guys will make SUPER parents. Maybe you just would like to adopt me instead (even though I think I am a couple of years older than you guys).

I've already bookmarked your website. There is some great stuff on there. You are a very talented person. Wish I could say the same for myself.

Get well soon. Tell Rob the same.

Cass, We love reading your post and seeing your pics! My favorite is the pirate one too! Very cool photo! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Foxy:
The WL is a wonderful hotel/resort. It is one of my favorites and the location is awesome to MK. The standard room view we had kind of bit; there are better ones I'm sure but we did get to watch the Wishes fireworks from our room on Tuesday night. Other than that, for the amount of time you'll spend in the room itself, unless your sick of course, isn't that much so having a "great" view isn't that big of a deal. I should have posted the pic of the bed frame though, have to be careful since the legs jut out and you can stub your toe pretty good, like Cass did a few times. I put some shirts down in front of the leg to stop her from doing it.
If you want some pics, PM Cass and I'm sure she'll get ya some pics of the room; she has LOTS.

Cass and Rob... you guys look great in those pics you posted! And I'm definately not tired of reading your thread.

We stayed in a WL standard room in September. DH requested a different room after 2 nights. He said that he could hear the delivery trucks come in every morning and he was getting a terrible sleep. We were lucky and got upgraded to a Woods View. The view in the standard room wasn't great if you looked down but looking straight ahead was fine. We had a nice view of the Contemporary and a fabulous view of the Wishes fireworks. The kids really enjoyed watching those from our room. In our Woods View room we could hear the fireworks but the trees blocked seeing them. However, during the day the overall view from the room was fabulous. Really made us feel like we were out in the wilderness. Don't know if I would pay full price for that though becuase we're hardly ever in the room. Regardless of the view the beds are all the same and we had toe stubbing issues too! (ouch!)

:flower:

Thanks for the report. Wow, snow - I don't see a lot of that around here in SouthEast Texas. We have basically the same weather as Orlando.

I absolutely loved your pirate picture. What a great Memory to have from your trip.

I wish you well and Good luck with the baby making. :goodvibes

Thanks again for the updates you guys.

You sure you don't live in Buffalo? HA!

Your snow pic reminded me of when we came back from an Easter trip down to Tampa this year. Beautiful weather all week in FLA then flew back to Buff and 4 inches of snow on the ground. Yuck. :cold:
