We are live from the Magic. We just left port.We had to wait for some late arrivals. We didn't leave till 5:50.I am cove cafe right now.We had lunch at Parrot Cay.Great like always. We actually got to board shortly before 12.We will be eating at Lumiere's tonight, and tomorrow we will be having Palo's Brunch. :Pinkbounc

Tonight,we will look for the Disney Wonder to pass us.We hope to get some photos! If I do,I will post after we get back!

Maria

Would love to hear when (what time) you passed the Wonder and what side of the ship it was on. We'll look for it next week!

So jealous! Have a blast! How's the weather?? :cool1:

Have a wonderful cruise!!! :sunny: Please tell Lourdes in the Cove Cafe (if she's working there still) that Theresa said Hi! :wave2:

Have a "MAGICal" time, it sure was cold standing along the banks of the port channel waiting for the Magic to leave last evening. You sailed past us about 5:55, it was already dark and I was able to get a few shots of the Magic, in all her glory, all lit up!!! Will share the photos with you after my return home in a day or two.

It's quite chilly (really, it's cold) here in Florida this morning.

Verandah Man-I thought the boat left port regardless at 5.We were proven wrong. We had to wait for a family to get onboard.Thank you so much for taking the photos for us.The sails were kind of rough last night. One of the people at our table were having a hard time with seasickness.Today,it is beautiful out there. It is calm.We just went by Eluthera islands. We are going to do the Golden Mickey's today. We like the Wonder, but the Magic is more relaxed.Yes,it is very cold outside.I am hoping it warms up.We were freezing during the sailaway party. Thanks again!Have a great drive home today!

As to our servers,I will get back with you all on that one.I know one is from Uruguay as far as names.I will get back on that one.

Yes,we saw the Disney Wonder sail by.It isn't too close,so all it looks like it is big lights in the distance. You can see the smoke stacks. We saw it starboard side, and it went by around 11:15.You may want to bring binocaulars.I am glad we did.

I will surely tell Lourdes hello from you Seaspray(Theresa)any coffee recommendations you can give me?Thanks!

Off to sign up for gingerbread house making tomorrow!

Thanks Maria!!! :) I can definitely recommend Lourdes' frozen (or iced) caramel coffees!! They are out of this world!! She serves them in a large glass goblet, topped with whipped cream, shaved chocolate (white and dark chocolate), and nuts! (She also made them iced for us, which were equally delicious, but didnt have the whipped cream). I have pictures of them on my web site, here's a link directly to that page: http://terry527.home.comcast.net/html/covecafe.htm If you have a chance, maybe you can show that page to Lourdes, since she's in one of the pictures :)

That gingerbreak making class sounds wonderful!!! Have a GREAT cruise!!!! :wave2:

me and my daughter made the gingerbread house and surprisingly, it survived the 5 hour plane ride back home! i signed up for my family of four to do it but my DH decided to take DS to the vegetable relay race. truly "something for everyone".

good to hear your having fun so far hope the weather gets warmer look forward to reading your posts as the week goes on

Hi: Enjoy your cruise! Please tell Lourdes hello from Dave and Janet (we were on the 9/18/04 Magic). Also, if you see Christine in the Promenade Lounge, tell her we said hi. Jan

Thanks for the live updates!!! I love reading what is happening aboard the Magic. Have a MAGICAL cruise.
Kathy :flower:

It was freezing for us during the sail away last week & the kids didn't even want to get in the Mickey pool beforehand because of the cold breeze. Sunday morning we woke up to beautiful weather & it was hard to get them out of the pool ever again! LOL! Have a wonderful cruise. We miss the Magic already and it has only been a couple days. :(

Ooooh I wish mine weren't so faaar away! :jumping4: Have a GREAT TIME!!!

We are having a great time. There is no Lourdes here this morning, but I will be back for Seaspray coffee suggestion.

The Golden Mickey's is something to see.It was great. We saw that yesterday, and we also did the Champagne Bruch at Palo's which was excellent.Today,we are doing the gingerbread house,Character breakfast as well as return cruiser party. We have Gabor and Toney as servers, and they are great.

The weather has warmed up,and it is great out there. We are having a fabulous time. After doing the Disney Wonder twice,we have to say we love the Disney Magic due to mroe time, and not feeling rushed.Don't get me wrong I love them both, but it is great on the Magic as one doesn't feel rushed.Off to Character Breakfast!

Maria

It has been kind of rocky out here this afternoon. We are suppose to be going by Puerto Rico today around 9PM.The character breakfast was great today.DH and I truly enjoyed it.We went also to dessert making, and it was fun and interesting this was at 10.Vista Spa was great.I am a rainforest freak<G>.DH did the capsule, and he loved it.We then went to the gingerbread house making at Studio Sea.That was fun.We aren't allowed to take the houses off the boat. That stinks! This afternoon we are going to return cruiser function, and then tonight we will go and see National Treasure before dinner.

By the way,we had Shirley make a basket for us for our cruise, and we loved it!She is the best. The Perfect Gift is the place, and Shirley and Norm are great! You will get what you desire for sure!!Thanks Shirley!

Disneyfan: on my sailing we weren't told not to take our gingerbread off the ship. unless i missed it but i packed ours and it travelled really well.

I want to take my gingerbread house home to my dckids, and they said during the presentation we couldn't.Did you put it in a bag,and take it out.I am looking for suggestions here.I wnt to take mine with us.I will have to ask at Guest Services although they didn't announce it they did say it to someone. You got lucky!Lets hope I do too!

Castaway Club reception was great like always. No new news!Sorry!

Rocking again tonight!

Maria

Love your reports. My mom and sister are on the same cruise as you. It is her very first cruise experience. Wish I could be there with them :-) I wonder if you happened to run into them while on this ship. Wouldn't that be neat if you did. :)

So is this cruise not a smooth one? From the way I udnerstand your reports it has been pretty rocky. Hope its not to bad. How has the weather been? Has it warmed up yet?

Have a great time.
