I'm here for the weekend, hoping to get in on the Millionaire Walk-In and Win tomorrow.
I booked a studio at Boardwalk Villas for tonite so I would be within walking distance to the Studios so I wouldn't have to endure what would sure to be a long line at the parking lot at 6am to get a wristband to be picked for the show.
When I arrived and checked in, I was floored at the difference. (I'm used to staying at values) I pulled up, someone met me with a luggage rack, loaded my stuff, then parked my car. (I have a handicapped tag, so no charge).
I made no requests on my room except for smoking, and when I went to check in was quickly waited on (no line) and was assigned room 2068. When I walked in, I thought this is cool. Then I saw the jacuzzi tub and realized whoa! this is a 1 bedroom!! I was so stoked! I had planned to spend most of the evening out at Epcot and then go to Jellyrolls, but decided instead to just have dinner one last time at Akershus (before it goes all Princess meals), then I came back to the room, bought me a bottle of bubble bath, and now I'm enjoying this room!!!! Took a nice long jacuzzi bath, washed my clothes in the room, and put all my sodas in the fridge. I have a view of the pool and Leaping Libations. I almost wish I had booked two nights now
I also have high speed internet so I can send the pictures home
I can see now why folks love Disney Vacation Club so much. Hey maybe if I get on the show tomorrow and win the million, who knows!
Well wish me luck for tomorrow, and I'll be sure to have a full report on how everything goes tomorrow (except of course, I can't tell anyone till it airs if I've won anything)
Carol
