Is anyone else addicted?
I can't go into a store without browsing the toy section! They are everywherein our house! Between DD3, DS2, and my 9 yr old nephew, they are EVERYWHERE!!!! But we are still missing so many!
It seems that every store just has the same ones, is it the same where you are? Here its the boxers twins and the skunk and cat.
And which is your favorite. (They are just so cute, I can't help it)

I'm so glad I'm not alone. I got the pet shop and a few pets for DD8's birthday last summer. My other two DD's, ages 4 and 12 were very jealous. They both asked for some for their birthday and each holiday since then. Between the 3 of them, they have nearly all of them (including the skunk). They play with them nearly every day. The set up all the big sets like the pet shop and the Tilt-a-whirl-playground, and play for hours. They have all the ones we've seen, there are very few that they don't have.

So adorable! My favorite is the hermit crab, but I also love the skunk and the ferret. It seems to me like they aren't selling them very much anymore. Walmart and Target used to have huge displays of LPS. Now the shelves are pretty empty. I hope they get new ones coming out soon.

We have got soooo many of them as well. Luckily the past few months DD9's interest has slacked off a bit. They did make a come back with her a couple weeks before Easter, but many of the stores were picked clean of them.....

We would go to buy a new set every week, which of course turned into two or three since we just couldn't decide.

I used to find a big difference between what Wal-mart (ewwww) had and Target. It was one of the ONLY reasons I would go to the Wal-Mart!

I am kind of partial to the Yorkie!

OMG! These are our current favorite toys! It's the first place I stop at Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R' Us. We have about 50 of them. The two I'm dying for that I've never seen in stores are the hermit crab and the ferret. I could buy them on ebay but I'm too cheap.
My favorites at the moment are the new little pig, the new panda bears, the iguana, skunk, and of course the Boston terrier since we have one.

same here - every trip to Target we head for the toy section - DD8 has about 100 of them and all the big sets. They were all she wanted for her birthday last year - so that is what she got from EVERYBODY...and these are what she spends her allowance on. Have met many parents in the stores that say the same thing. It is interesting to go on Ebay and see the old versions - from the '70's, I believe. I did not realize the selection varied from place to place - I just figured they made certain ones extra hard to find.

The ferret, I think was one of the first ones and I have told my DD not to count on that one (I think it might have been in a Toy r US special addition to one of the larger sets though - but DD already had that set and I wasn't gonna buy it again for one piece) - but we would love to find the hermit crab.

We found the hermit crab at Walmart in Utah, and we found the ferret here in Vegas at Family Dollar, of all places!

We also love the monkeys, we got those at Target around Christmas time.

Has anyone ever seen the clown fish? I can't even find it on ebay, but its there on the check-off poster. DD3 REALLY wants the "nemo pet shop", but I don't think it really exists. I just wish the stores here would carry a bigger variety.
Good thing we'll be moving back to the west coast soon!

hehe, I used to have these when I was little. I liked the gerbils with the little wheel that you could spin them on.
