Little to no availability in late winter/early spring = huge crowds everyday?

I've been spot checking dates from early February to late April and can't find a value resort except for Movies at around 190 a night for a standard room. I checked weekday nights only too. Does this mean crowds are going to be bonkers the whole time? A friend of mine who isn't really that much into Disney thought maybe she'd give a trip there a chance in the spring but I'm afraid the crowds due to Star Wars land would put her off. She is mostly interested in the World Showcase.

I think you may need to just play with the dates a bit more, I'm finding Pop and All-Stars for days in March and April. One thing that has changed with Pop is the Skyliner, it's starting to be more popular because of that IMO. Spring break crowds do happen, but if you work around them and weekends, it won't be slammed. If she wants WS, I'd go during F&G and stick to weekdays.
