DS is in a preschool for 3 yr olds. I would like to get little souvenirs for the kids and for the teacher, any ideas?

Just about every time you visit a park they will give you a sticker or a few for that matter. You could keep those, and bring them back for the kids in the class. We ended up with a whole bunch. The Cast Members love to give them to the kids, and they're free for you. As for the teacher, we bought the lanyard they sell at the parks, we got ours at Epcot. They hold a bottle of water. They have the loop on the end, not the clasp. The teacher can use it for a water bottle, keys , or our teacher used it for her gym whistle. It had all the flags from around the world on it being it came from Epcot. She loved it and still uses it, 2 years later. It was around $9. Have fun. By the way, the stickers I mentioned above, are of all different characters, depending where you are so you will get a great variety. Near Ariel's Grotto they gave out Ariel stickers, near the princess tent we got Cinderella stickers, etc. If you don't see one at a particular area just ask a Cast Member they'll be glad to give you a sticker or 3!

If sweet treats are allowed at school, you might be able to buy some lollipops for the kids.

You can get some really cool snack foods at WDW. A bag of mickey shaped pretzels or a bag of WDW cookies would be good. You can get the little boxes of cookies like animal cookies and that would be a great treat. I think the character straws were pretty cheep. For a little bit more, I like those dehytrated wash cloths that grow as they are wet. Crayons, or markers are good. Check out the world of Disney at DD. They have a lot of small items. For the teacher, a box of WDW candy or a pen and note pad set or a photo album would be nice.

Hope this helps,

Kids-
Pencils, AK has a place where you can get a bag of rocks for about $5 in the store across from Chester & Hester's Dino-rama.

Teachers-
Coffee mugs, notepads, Definitley check the World Of Disney in downtown disney for some awesome inexpensive gifts.

The lanyard is a great idea for teachers. A cute key chain would be great too!! A couple of years, I was a traveling teacher (I had keys for 3 rooms, plus a bathroom key), and I bought a key chain that accommodates numerous keys! I loved it!!!

Stickers, erasers, pencils, etc. are great for pre-schoolers. Try the under $10 area at DTD (near the boat dock by the Rainforest Cafe). There may be multi-items that you can give the little ones.

Good Luck!

They have cute pencils in the shape of all the different characters....there should be more then enough characters so each child could have a different one. I think they are between $2 to $3.

Micky ears with the kids names on them would also be great. I think they are $6.

We bought lollipops and divided the pack. Also at the same store I told the clerk what I was getting them for and she gave me 16 small bags to put the things in. She also said to ask for extra stickers next time we were offered them. So I got the bags for free, put a lollypop, some stickers (free) and bought the little bags of chocolate coins with characters and divided those up and gave that. Very inexpensive.

Was this a "special" one, or the one sold at the carts?

The one I bought at MGM was $3-4.

We like those washcloths that are shrink-wrapped down to a very small size and then grow when you add water. Lots of print choices for the front of the towel.
World of Disney has had lots of these in the past.

We were just there in Jan and wanted something as reasonable as possible. We bought a bag of coins that are covered in foil and chocolate. Pencils, or lollipops are good.

When we went we ended up with 12 extra treats so we brought home those mickey rice crispy treats for the kids frineds. They were abou3 3.00 each.

If you have a car there are outlet stores in the area and I am sure you could find somethig there.
