They were bringing this Noah's Ark to the farm. While they were gone a county inspector came on their property and Amy came back and found this county guy taking pictures and confronted him. I was on the edge of my seat she is tough! If you get a chance catch it. It was something else. It is amazing they are allowed to come on your property like that without warning.

I missed tonight's episode. I'll have to catch it later. I can say though that the Noah's Ark is alive and well at Roloff Farms. I was there the 2nd weekend of pumpkin season. They didn't have all the animals there, but it was still pretty dang cool!

i have not watched the episode yet, but different cities and counties have different laws governing county inspectors coming on your property without your permission. if you've got a buisness that's open to the public it opens up a whole new set of rules.

we live in an area where the county has to get your permission, so if it's an outside the house issue and they can't get your permission to do a look see they may hit up your adjacent neighbor to view it with a telescopic lens from their property.

I couldn't believe that guy - even if he was allowed to be there, he was rude.

I loved how she got in the car and he couldn't leave.

It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall of town hall today. Even if that guy can be on the property, he was just rude. All he had to do was give Amy his name and card at the begining and alot of the drama could have been avoided. I wonder if they didn't need his permission to show his face since he was filmed on private property, and not in public?

hummmmm, he had to have signed permission to be on TV or they would have blurred his face...

I know sometimes I'll be walking in an area and will run into a sign stating that filming is taking place in the area, and by proceeding that gives them permission to use me on film or something along those lines. I'd assume they'd have something like that on their property.

When National Geographic filmed here last year ANYONE who went on the property had to sign a release.

And I was proud of Amy. (Although I'm still sad about the Rocky episode from last week...)

I agree. I was in shock through that whole thing. All he would have had to do was give a name. I thought it was beyond rude. Even if someone is use to dealing with a husband, Amy still is the owner too. That whole thing like "Matt knows me" was crap. I am glad she stuck up for herself and her family.

I thought it was a little out of line that he would not show her any id. That makes the whole thing a little gray especially since he was determined to leave without waiting for the sheriff. If everything was above board, why the whole secret identity thing.

I feel sorry about Rocky but thought it was a Matt thing to go way beyond what was necessary. Genetic testing will not make the dog any less old or sore. I thought how silly that they dragged the dog clear across the room to get his pills when they could just walk the pills to the dog.

I totally agree. It made it look really bad he would not give his name and took off like that before the cop came. Which was weird since the cop said from what he understood they could. Something else was up for sure. Interesting to see if they show anything else on the topic.

I am very sad this is the last season of the show. I really enjoy it. I wonder how they will end it and if they will have future updates on this family. I don't always care for Matt but the rest of them I enjoy watching.
