I'm curious what people's experience was with the "Little Ones Travel Time" last fall? We will be at WDW during the final week of this event in October taking our 4.5 and 1.5 yr old. The extra magic hour in Fantasyland really interests me and I have only read great things about that so far. Does anyone know when they will come out with a schedule for the concerts at MGM and which mornings for the EMH at Fantasyland? Does anyone know if The Wiggles are still going to be there since Greg has announced that he's quitting the Wiggles (or has already)? :sad1: How much do these concerts affect the crowds at MGM?

Thanks so much!

We were there last Sept. and LOVED the early entry into Fantasyland! There were tons of characters and they were all interacting with the kids. They were singing, dancing, playing games and riding rides. Great photo opportunites but they did not sign autographs during this time. It was very magical.:wizard:
We missed the Dan Zanes concert unfortunetly so I can't help there. I have been to a Wiggles concert in the past and they put on a great show. I will miss Greg though.:sad1:

We went in Sept too, and loved the early entry. Everything was just like the previous poster said!!

We did see Johnny and the Sprites. And our show really wasn't that crowded.

How crowded were the parks?

Were the kids able to ride the rides without too much waiting?

Very hot?

Just looking to plan our trip for next year and wondering if it will be worth it or not.

Thank you for all the information.

Just found this on the Disneyworld website!

For little ones, we recommend attractions that emphasize fun. We've included live shows and parades in which beloved Disney Characters spring to life, recreational activities that are at a young child's pace, and dining options that are welcoming and fun for our youngest Guests.

I just pulled out my itenerary from the last trip (huhhhh) and we were there on Fri., Sept. 29, 2006. The first half hour wasn't very crowded and you could have gotten right on any ride. The second half hour things were starting to pick up and the wait for Dumbo was at least 15 minutes. But Stitch was riding it and all the kids wanted to ride with him. It was still well worth it. Our children each got lots of time with a large variety of characters. I also think it puts you at an advantage to be on the backside of the castle when the park opens to the public!:thumbsup2

We went last September as well and loved it. My DD still talks about how she got to ride Peter Pan's ride with Peter Pan. The characters were wonderful and she has such a blast. It wasnt crowded at all - comparatively speaking to when we had visited in March. I think we rode Goofy's Barnstormer roller coaster five times without waiting in line. It was very hot but thankfully it wasnt crowded. We spent most of the afternoon napping and swimming. I dont think we waited more than 15 minutes for any ride our whole trip.

We went the end of August last year and it was great. We were sure to get to MK as soon as it opened on the little ones magic time hours (or whatever it was called) and there was barely a wait for most rides (a bit of a line formed for Dumbo after awhile, but as a previous poster stated, Stitch was riding it and eveyrone wanted to try to ride with him). That wait was still less than 10 minutes. Most other rides we practically walked on.

Peter Pan characters were playing follow the leader and other characters were doing similar things. It was well worth getting up early! The character interaction was the best.

We also saw the Wiggles at MGM. It was fantastic, especially since they never tour anywhere near our home and always sell out so fast anyway. I had gotten conflicting info on how to gain entry to the concert, but from reading the disboards I knew I needed to be proactive. I got up early (far too early for being on vacation) and took a taxi to MGM to get in line for those tickets. I thnk I was there by about 6 am (DH & DD stayed in bed...until I relaized I needed HIS card to put through the Fast Pass machine to get him a ticket too).

We were down in the front "on the floor" for the first show. Later I came to realize we could have gotten into the normal seating without getting up at 6 am...but being down in front was great. I felt it was totally worth it by look on my daughter's face. That was 6 months ago and she still talks about it and about our trip to Disney World in general.

I think it was a well planned event for preschoolers and their families.
