Little Mermaid room question

Planning on staying in a Little Mermaid room early next year and was wondering where the quietest rooms are located. Possibly on the 4th floor? Or are the other floors sound proofed well?

I'd say it's entirely chance, as "how quiet" it is will be highly dependent on your neighbors. None of the Disney properties (even Deluxes) are soundproofed well.

I agree that it depends on your neighbors, and possibly how close you are to the pool. We stayed on the ground floor in the King Triton building last summer and it was very quiet. We loved AoA!

Us and another family are going and my first request will be for us and them to be somewhat close in rooms. My second will be a ground floor, I think.

I would put in a request for a "quiet room", which would probably put you on the back side of the buildings, perhaps with a lake/Pop view. But as everyone else has said, quiet is relative to how considerate your neighbors are. I've had some bad noise experiences in deluxes with people yelling up and down the halls at all hours. Another thing to consider is requesting a non-connecting room. The connecting door seems to amplify any noise taking place in the room next door so that something as simple as watching TV or carrying on a normal conversation will be louder than it should be. Requesting a top floor room will help with noise above you (that's one of my normal requests). I use a white noise app on my phone when I travel to minimize noise issues from other rooms (or the inevitable slamming of doors as people head out in the morning or come in late).

We recently had a room facing the LM pool and it was still quiet when kids were swimming. We've stayed twice on pool and lake side of the Ursula building first floor and haven't had any noise issues.
