Little Mermaid Preview - June 1 - Contest for L.A. & Orange County Residents - KOST

I don't know if there has already been a thread about this - if so, I apologize.

There is a current KOST radio station contest to win a 4-pack of tickets to preview the new Little Mermaid attraction on Wednesday, June 1st.

I think it's only for Los Angeles and Orange County residents, but Ventura County residents may be included in there as well. You also have to be able to go to their station and pick up the tickets in person.

This is a really good opportunity for some locals, not that it will apply to me but a great thing to share.


Below is just speculation on my part.
I wonder if this is because media will be able to see the attraction on the 1st? Each media outlet is allowed X number of staff and guests to go. The station is running a contest for 4 of thier X number of spots. Then on the 2nd they are allowed to release reports on the attraction, having ridden it the day before.

^^That sounds very plausible. I think you're probably right and that's what the scenario is.

In fact, just a couple of days ago one of the local news show anchors mentioned (in passing) the "media day at Disneyland" coming up soon, but I didn't hear the whole segment so I wasn't sure if the media day was going to include both Star Tours and the Little Mermaid for them to preview or just one of the rides.
