I finally found the before and after pictures of Little John:

Thoughts? I think I like the old version better.

Definitely prefer the old one-the new one looks like he escaped from Country Bear Jamboree.. Where is the best place to find them? Him and Robin Hood are the ones I really want to find-we'll have so much to talk about.

We saw him near "the hat" at MGM.

There is a number you can call (I don't have it, but maybe someone else will) to ask about where specific characters will be when you are visiting.

We have recently been seeing the Robin Hood characters in Town Square at Magic Kingdom, (near the Emporium). Little John, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck and Prince John.

the new costume is redesigned so it's a lot less straining on the performer. the old one really beat you up.

That's strange. The picture of the new Little John said it was taken in November 2005, but I met the old Little John when I was there in December. Are they using both versions?

Yep, that's me posing with the old Little John! That photo was taken at the ToonTown Train Station right around December 1st, so I also seen him later than November. In fact, I saw him twice on that trip (ToonTown Train Station and also in Adventureland Veranda) and each time it was the "old" Little John. I recognize the second photo (done by some fellow character hunters I been in contact with ) and I was also surprised to see a "new" Little John. Does seem that Disney is using both versions!

I got to keep my eyes open for the "new" Little John! MakinOrlando - hope you find him!!!!!!!!

Oh!!! I hope that we get to see the Robin Hood Characters! That was my favorite Disney cartoon when I was younger and it is still one of my favorites today . OOO DI LOLY!

Thanks!!!!! I though I was the only one crazy enough to spend alot of time on each trip finding all the characters, but there are quite a few dedicated character lovers here on the DIS!!! I orginally put up the website since I wanted to put my useless Computer Science degree to work somehow!!
