I've read in some posts a long time ago that some of the little girls will dress up in their Princess costumes. I'm wondering what night they normally wear them to dinner. Is it on formal or semi-formal, or just to any dinner? princess: I don't want her to be the only Princess! Thanks.

You will see lots of the children dressed up in various Disney costumes at dinner each evening -and it's just lovely! Yes, there are numerous princesses on Formal and Semi-formal nights, and all look just beautiful. You will probably wish to have Formal photos taken of you all on one of these evenings, when you are all in your "Sunday best". Have fun. Nat:Pinkbounc

I say be a princess every night!
We see kids dressed up on the Wonder all the time, even though there is no formal night. They are so adorable!
And I must confess, I liked "dressing up" too, although not as a princess. Hubby and I bought silly headgear to wear around WDW (Stitch ears for me and a monorail that looks like it's going through his head for him), and we have so much fun wearing it at the parks that we are going to wear it all over the ship on our 9/9 cruise. :teeth:

Hi!

I had my DDs 2 and 3 in their princess costumes for formal night, and am so happy we have beautiful portraits of them with Minnie and Mickey, who were dressed in their formal wear, too. The ship photog got great shots! They had their crowns and wands and it was adorable.

On a side note, my older daughter, age 3, had her Sleeping Beauty costume on, and wouldn't you know it, she fell asleep laid out in my arms in the middle of dinner. Must have been all the excitement of the day. We got quite a few smiles and applause as I carried her sound asleep out of Lumiere's.

I think it is a great idea to let them wear their costumes!

Enjoy!

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll go for it on formal and semi-formal nights. princess: She'll feel just like a real princess.
