little bundt cake cooking time??

I got a bundt cake pan for Christmas - it's for six little bundt cakes...the recipe calls for the regular size bundt pan..(35-40 minutes) to cook...will the cooking time be the same for this cake pan that holds six little ones or would it be shorter because they're smaller pans? -- I've totally confused myself this morning! Barb

The time should be significantly less, probably if you are looking at a 35-40 minute time on a regular bunt cake pan, I would guess in the 20 minute mark. The best thing would be to watch them (try not to open the oven) and see when the sides look like they are baked and then when you think they look ready put a toothpick in or something to check for doneness. Once you go through this exercise once, you should have a rough idea moving forward.

I agree, most cupcakes are in the 20-25 minute range. I would start checking them around 15 minutes(just visually) and keep an eye on them from then on, then do the toothpick test when you think they are done.
