Little Bummed!

We have to cancel our four night stay at BWV in a little over 2 weeks - DH hurt his knee and needs surgery -- Although I am very happy that DH will be 100% after the surgery! I guess in the scheme of things missing one trip is nothing compared to our loved ones health! But selfishly I still am alittle bummed

I am so sorry for you both. OF COURSE you are disappointed! Planning a WDW trip is a real labor of love -- so much plotting, packing, daydreaming, etc. I often think that in all 40 years of trips, someone will be ill, and some trips may have to be cancelled -- it just seems odds are this way with so many trips planned. Yet the thought upsets me nonetheless!

The best way to get over 1 trip canceleld is to plan the next trip! Remember that WDW strives to eb accessible and if your dh is "temporarily disabled" they will give him a ground floor room, or close to elevators, or whatever he needs. The rented ECV's are wonderful too!
