List of Marching Bands?

Is there somewhere that you can find a list of the HS Marching bands and when they are at WDW?

Ooooh, I wish you could. I've never seen one. DS's band marched there about 15-20 years ago, and I'm still such a "band mom". I cry and cheer and cry some more whenever I see a HS band performing.

No, there is not a public list. There is an internal list, but even the performing groups don't know what order they will go in or exactly what time until very close to their trip, or even on the trip sometimes.

I am a tour director for bands and choirs, and WDW is one of my favorite places to visit with them. Not just because it is awesome (duh), but because the DPA folks are so great with the kids.

I will have a marching band there in a couple weeks as my last trip until the fall.

My group is marching before the FOF parade on June 11.

We'll be there then and that's our day for MK. I def. wanted to catch the FOF that day so I hope to have a spot before the parade and can catch your group.

Also, do they usually have a band march every day?

Yes, they have at least one band each day, dependent on the time of year, of course. I would think they don't have many from late June until September, but I have had groups marching there every other month, and we have never been the only group. There are some days in the midst of spring break that they will have 3 bands march mid-morning (not associated with any Disney parade), then 3 before FOF, and 3 before the first MSEP.

I am very impressed with the Disney Performing Arts CMs. I have had marching bands march at the MK and Epcot, concert bands, string orchestras, a handbell choir, and choirs perform at DTD and Epcot, a musical theater group have a clinic at Saratoga Springs, and many different types of groups (jazz bands, concert bands, dance groups, etc.) do various clinics backstage. The CMs are unfailingly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It's a great experience for student performers.
