I haven't read through this whole thread yet but I just wanted to say your pictures turned out absolutely wonderful. I love the sand ceremony with all the different family members joining in.
You reception location is just beautiful. I noticed you used the Lenox Mickey and Minnie Ears. I had a few questions about them for you. Did you use these as placecards? We have a Lenox warehouse by me and I purchased over 100 of these last November. They were not in boxes and were on sale for $4.99 each. They had an end of season sale so they were 50% off then they they had coupons so I think I got each of them for under $2.00. They were not engraved so I purchased a pen to write on them. I was just wondering how you incorporated them into your reception. Did you have them at everyones place setting or did you have them outside with the table number on them (looks like you had them at the actual place setting). This would not work for us as we will probably have at least 50 people at our wedding. Also, did you purchase them with the box - I am afraid of people breaking them taking them home.
I will read more of this thread and look for your trip report. I just got so excited when I saw the Lenox ears I just had to write.

Linda,
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I was very excited to find those. I tried the Lenox outlets after seeing a post here, but their prices were higher than ebay. The lady on ebay that I found personalized them and sent them. I assumed she was sending them in the boxes but she just wrapped them in bubble wrap and stuck them in priority mail boxes. It was, however, easier when I shipped them down with all the other little favor items. Disney set them at each place for me but we only had 29 people so it was easy. I also had table names but nothing outside, they just had to find their spots. I don't think it would be to bad for 50 people, but a bit crazy for 100!
Only one broke and it was for my almost 16 yo half brother who really didn't care too much. At that point, after all I'd done, made, shipped, etc I really was just happy to have someone else worry about getting something home! They also had the favor mugs from the Mad Hatter and the teacups/pots from the centerpieces too. No one complained and only two families drove (thankfully, so they could bring home my sand ceremony vase!).
I hope you find a way to use them. If not, I know maggimus was desperately seeking a boy and a girl one for herself and new hubby

Also, once the kiddies go to bed tonight, I promise to start my trip report.
