You have NO idea how excited I am to read your report- as we are planning our own custom vow renewal- the photos were fabulous- I actually think we might be more comfy with an EPCOT photo session rather than the MK- those photos were absolutely stunning. They all were stunning really- but I was just really impressed with the EPCOT ones!!

We are are doing our vow renewal this fall for our 25th anniversary, however we are going to the Outer Banks, NC. Perhaps we can celebrate our 50th at WDW.

I can't even BEGIN to say how incredible everything looks!!!! You made my DW cry!! We are also planning a VR and it's going to be on our 5th anniversary in a couple years. W/out taking away from your BEAUTIFUL...EVERYTHING, my DW and I wanted to renew ours because our original was less than we dreamed. But how did you get photos at both MK AND Epcot???!!!! That's AMAZING and so is that PRICE for 27!!! WOW!!!! I can't even continue to say how priceless and perfect everything looked!!! You both look amazing together and with those adorable kids!!!!

Thank you so much! The kids were a big reason for a lot of the things on this trip. None of my nieces andnephews had ever been. I don't think they'll forget this one anytime soon!

David and Vicki Arndt with Disney photography did the photos. They were fantastic to work with and I'm very pleased with the results. Mike did the MK and Epcot shoots. It did cost extra but we figured if we were all dressed up anyway....

This was for our 10th. Congrats on your 25th and have a wonderful time in the Outer Banks. My brother lives in charleston so we go see him for our nice laid back anti Disney trips!!

So glad everyone's enjoying the pix! We really had an amazing time and I love to be able to share it with fellow Disney lovers!

We just had to pay extra for Epcot and I'm so glad we did. I actually called today about ordering the hi res cd and joked about doing the MK again and she said, no problem, once you have a Disney wedding you can always do it again---like my hubby would get up that early again!

Oh, the price of 3000 was only for the props. I wish it had been for the whole thing but that was just the props!

In hindsight, there were some areas we could've cut back on but I'm very happy with how it came out, a party to remember!

Your pictures are wonderful, everything was beautiful and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time!

My husband and I are having a vow renewal 12-6-07 and you have given me hope that all will be as beautiful as we want.

How did you pick the decor and flowers for your reception? I am waiting for an e-mail from Laura at Disney Floral and I have no idea what to ask for. We are very limited in what decor, etc we can have since we are having our pre-reception and reception outside at the Isola Terrace at Epcot.

Again, everything was beautiful and I loved your "Bridal Flip Flops"!

Here's a link to a search. I ordered mine in April and don't think the lady is still selling them, but here's some more. Good luck! We debated for a long time over all the adorable chocolate ones that Disney does, but in the end we wanted to do an ornament anyway and these cost about the same as the chocolate (and last longer!)

On another note, we have had a busy weekend and I am trying to plan a bday party for my oldest who will be 9 next week---kind of slacked after all the disney planning---but will try to start my trip report Monday.

hi Lisa, first off, let me say congrats on your Vow Renewal - I just looked over your photos and STUNNING is the only word that comes to mind!! I actually found your report while catching up on the GF pages.....so sorry that lots of the "magic" wasn't there and at those prices!!!! and you're right, it's not about all the extras ( which are nice) but rather the attitude of the staff which costs nothing!

my DF and I will be spending the beginning of our honeymoon at the RPC and I really just don't know what to expect at this point - for us, this is a dream way to start and I am just hoping it won't be marred by any thoughtless people!

I must add I think you are an exceptional couple filled with so much love to do this for your family...and you're right, they may never love Disney the way you do ( as do many of us) but at least now they have a better understanding..

I haven't read through this whole thread yet but I just wanted to say your pictures turned out absolutely wonderful. I love the sand ceremony with all the different family members joining in.

You reception location is just beautiful. I noticed you used the Lenox Mickey and Minnie Ears. I had a few questions about them for you. Did you use these as placecards? We have a Lenox warehouse by me and I purchased over 100 of these last November. They were not in boxes and were on sale for $4.99 each. They had an end of season sale so they were 50% off then they they had coupons so I think I got each of them for under $2.00. They were not engraved so I purchased a pen to write on them. I was just wondering how you incorporated them into your reception. Did you have them at everyones place setting or did you have them outside with the table number on them (looks like you had them at the actual place setting). This would not work for us as we will probably have at least 50 people at our wedding. Also, did you purchase them with the box - I am afraid of people breaking them taking them home.

I will read more of this thread and look for your trip report. I just got so excited when I saw the Lenox ears I just had to write.

I love how you did the sand ceremony! Personally, I've never been one for sand, candle, etc.. ceremonies but that idea is fantastic!!
