the scene in Penn Station looked like something out of "third Watch" -- so many firefighters, EMS, police, rtailroad personnel -- and the press, of course.

Scary! We could actually hear the sirens above while passing under Penn on the E train this morning.

It's amazing more people weren't seriously hurt. I'm sure LIR is like Metro North in the am. People are packed on, many standing the whole route......

Hope everyone will be OK.

My DH rides the LIRR every day - he said is was very strange - all the emergency equipment.
