Lion King on Stage - Fantastic

Yesterday we took DS and DD to see the Lion King to celebrate DDs birthday (which was on Friday).

The show was fantastic! I'd been expecting a stage version of the Lion King show at AK but how wrong I was, it was so different. As the Circle of Life song began I found I had tears rolling down my cheeks - I was just so overwhelmed.

I was particularly impressed with the children who played Simba and Nala they were so talented.

The only slight down side was we went to the matinee and there were lots of young children there who were just too young to be expected to sit through a full length show.

It is a wonderful show isn't it ? It was over a year ago now since we saw it and so some of the cast has probably changed, but they were, and I'm sure they still are, really marvellous !

I also saw the show last year and would love to see it again. The costumes were amazing plus I love the songs.

We took DS to see it when we were in London in October and I couldn't agree with you more. I was so emotionally attached and thoroughly wrapped up in the perfomance, I didn't want it to end. The children performers were fabulous!
