It's coming to Ohio, which would be a drive for us. Is it a good show? Worth it to see from the balcony?

Awesome show! We saw it from the mezzanine and it was a great view! I'd love to see it again!

I do not really do Broadway, but got tickets as a gift. When we arrived I was a little nervous about the amount if small children, but the show was terrific! I loved it, so did all the kids!! We were at a daytime showing and loved it so much we went back to an evening showing when it returned to our area.

Make the trip, it will be a great time. :) I think it would be fine from the balcony.

It's a great show from wherever in the theater. Don't miss it!

It is so worth it. When I saw it I was in the very last row but it didn't matter. It;s such a great show!

I worked part time in a theatre when it came through here and worked it many times. I saw it from all over the theatre and I really enjoyed it from the balcony. It's such a big show and really fills the stage, so when you're farther back you actually get to "the big picture". There are lots of shows I would not sit in the balcony for, but Lion King is not one of them. I say go and enjoy!

I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I mean it was not what I was expecting. I thought the people were going to wear animal costumes and it would be very "cartoon" like. Kind of like how they do the beauty and the beast musical? (the big cartoony costumes).
But it was real people who just wore dark colors and put horns on their head or wings on their arms and stuff like that. The costumes were interesting and all but they didn't really look like real animals.
The little boy in it back when I saw it was amazing, it was fun to watch him. But the other ones I didn't like as much.
It was neat and I'm glad I went but to be honest I got bored fast.

My dh dislikes the theater and especially, musical theater. He nonetheless LOVED Lion King and still talks about it.

So I'd say it's totally worth it.

Yes!! We saw it in Cleveland in 07 and loved it. I was half tempted to drive to Dayton to see it again! Definitely go if you can! DH and I both loved it!

I saw it in Atlanta many years ago and LOOOOOVED it! Amazing show!
