It's been a while since I've been to AK and I'm trying to figure out if I can see both the Lion King Musical and the Nemo Musical in one afternoon. Those are the only two reasons I want to go to AK. I can't find anything with the times of the musicals. Thanks for your help! :goodvibes

You should post this question under the Disney Theme Parks forum, you will get more answers.

This forum is for items other than Disney.

Thanks. I was in a hurry and clicked the incorrect place. I've posted where it should be.

We did it just fine! I loved the Lion King performance much more than the Nemo one but that's because the energy level and the closeness with the show is so much better! Enjoy both!

You can do both. Do one first thing, like Lion King, and then Nemo in the afternoon.

I also agree with PP. We preferred LK, as we were seated closer to the action, and much more interactive.:woohoo:

Nemo was also visually stunning, but it was much more "artsy" and interpretive. It's also much longer, and younger kids may get restless as it's not quite the same as the movice.

If that is all you are going to AK for than you could easily do both. Although I must warn you Finding Nemo the musical put me to sleep! I seriously wanted to just kick everyone off my bench so I could lay down and sleep.

:rotfl2: OP here. I've seen Lion King several times but never been able to make it to Nemo. I absolutely love Lion King. :lovestruc I thought I'd give Nemo a try also this time but I MUST see Lion King also. And yes, that's really my only interest in going to AK and since we'll have hoppers, I thought we could do it. Now I'm wondering if Nemo will put DH to sleep. He can fall asleep at the drop of a hat anyway. :rotfl: Thanks everyone for your help.

You can definitely see both in one afternoon. We've done it before. The times for Festival of the Lion King can be found on the WDW site in the calendar section of AK, just click the day you like http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/animal-kingdom/calendar/

For the Finding Nemo Musical, just pick up a times guide on your way into the park, or ask a cast member to find out the times for you. Enjoy, both shows are fantastic!!

Wow, I just need to make a quick comment on the quality of the Nemo show.
The costuming is spectacular, the acting is wonderful, and the skills of the cast running the hand held puppets while doing the acting, singing, and dancing is just first class. If you can get a seat as far down front as possible to see the faces of the cast and just how into the parts they are, it really makes the show pop, in my opinion.

It is so interesting...because we live 3 months in the area, we have seen the show at least 20 times. I can understand the first reaction as possibly a little neutral because you do not know what to expect, but every time I see it I see more things and wonder at the talent of the cast, the complexity of the set, and costuming and puppetry.

Lion King is totally different experience and wonderful. To feel the "interactive" part of the Nemo, get there early and find a seat somewhere below the main isle that goes from side to side. The first two rows right in front of the stage are a little too low but other than that, way down front is really fun.

Enjoy...Ted

I'm with Ted. I think Nemo is the most compelling live show Disney has done in any of their domestic parks, ever. And that *includes* both Snow White and Aladdin from the west coast parks. (Aladdin is a very very close second, though.)

For those who have not yet seen Nemo, I think it is worth buying the cast album of the show so that you can be familiar with the songs before you see it. You can get it from iTunes, or if you are a Rhapsody subscriber, can listen to it there.
