She's off to rehab, I think. Hey, at least she went to jail for a little while. So many celebrities spend a night there or like one of the Kardashian sisters- a couple of hours!

I hope she gets her life back together.

The jail is VERY over-crowded, so it is NO surprise that she was released early for "good behavior". Was the 13 day stint enough to scare her straight? Time will tell, particularly after her 90 days in rehab.

I don't get that. I mean I keep hearing that. So, if I want to commit a crime, I should do it in L.A. because if I'm caught, I'll get out quicker because the jails are so over-crowded?

I don't know about you but I have never been in jail and if I had to spend even one night in one I definitely would consider it a lesson learned
I hope after she gets done with rehab she will too.

Depends on the severity I think. They were discussing this on the news (might've been the Today Show). I think they try to "fast-track" the ones who aren't major/violent offenders. The drug sellers, gang-bangers, muggers, assaulters, etc do the time, but the ones with DWI's etc get out early to make room for the bigger fish that need frying.

SO yeah, if you are going to get a DWI or get busted with a few ounces of coke, do it in LA!

So Sad , Would be nice to see her get her Life together, it just breaks my Heart when i see things like this, My Dear Daughter would have liked to have had the chance to have lived longer, and to see people like this abusing their life upsets the crap out of me, the good die young, and the bad get the chance to screw up over and over. Life's not Fair !!

Just read she is heading to UCLA Psychiatric Hospital. The judge changed her mind after recommendations from court appointed psychiatrist and medical professionals. So instead of the Morningside Recovery Center, she's checking into a specialized treatment center at UCLA that specializes in addiction and psychological problems.

Hey, if Robert Downey Jr could turn it around, I hope she can too. Only thing is I still havent read anything where she believes she needs help. But who am I? Im just some reader of gossip LOL!

and this is exactly what the problem is. I lived with a dual addicted husband for many many years. And have seen many, many, jail visit rooms and detox centers, and out of all the 49 friends we had, not one even lived thru any beliefs that they had "no issues" . It took over 27 treatment centers and 49 deaths for my husband to realize..oh ya, I have a problem. And Lindsey just does not see it at ALL!

I hope she does, but it is just not that simple! I have been saying this for months now!!

In the early 90's Kelsey Grammar was sentenced to serve 30 days for prohbation violations regarding a DWI and cocaine possession incident and he got out after 14 days due to jail overcrowding. Kelsey like Robert Downey Jr. also turned his life around. I hope Lindsey can but like another poster mentioned I haven't read anything where she feels she needs help. Her sister got upset with their father because he asked the judge to make Lindsey go to rehab. So clearly there is enabling in the family.

no, that's pretty much for everyone who's a non violent offender, not just the famous ones.

Maybe this was rock bottom for her, maybe it wasn't. But just because I haven't read that she says she's ready to change, doesn't mean that she doesn't feel that way. She doesn't have to answer to the tabloids or to me.

She's had to live a life that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I don't know how I'd react if I was raised the way she was, so I'll try to withhold judgement and hope that she's able to make some type of peace with herself and get thru what she needs to get through so she can come out the other side healthy.
