Linking tickets

Apologies if this has been covered -- I did try to search but couldn't find anything.

My husband and I have third party e-tickets for Disneyland for October. I know we need to make park reservations, and I'm anxiously waiting for our dates to open up. The question is, do I need to link both tickets to my account to make those reservations? And if I do, will he be able to do mobile order or get MaxPass FastPasses on his account? Or do we each need to link the tickets to our own accounts? And if we do, can we still try for a BG for Rise and Spider-Man together?

They can both be linked to both accounts. But if you’re trying to make park reservations for both of you, you’ll have to have his ticket linked in your account. You’ll also need them both together to get boarding groups for both of you. For an example I have my family’s 6 tickets loaded on my account, DH’s account and both teen DD’s accounts.

On an aside, for now, MaxPass has been discontinued (paused?). In any case, there is a chance you won’t have that benefit in Oct.
