Linking Tickets to MDE

My bad - doing this last minute. We make our FP selections tomorrow night. I was told by a Disney resort agent this am that if I buy tickets through Disney's website, I can link our 2 adult tickets to MDE by entering our order number - NOT the actual ticket numbers (since may not have them yet?). Is this correct.

I chatted with an Undercover Tourist rep who said you HAD to have the individual ticket numbers, which if I order today I should have by tomorrow evening.

Is it different when order directly from Disney? Tried to chat with Disney but reps busy

Advice please - too risky to order this late from UC tourist?

2. From UT, that is true.
EXCEPT... UT also sells "e-Tickets" and you can input the e-Ticket number
into MDE and make FP+. The e-Ticket numbers are emailed to you.
3. UT can send you the e-Ticket numbers within minutes, or hours, or... so that's your choice.

They are both right. If you buy your tickets from a secondary seller you will need the ticket numbers.
If you buy from Disney, you can link your tickets with the confirmation number.

just spoke with a Disney Tech agent. She told me as long as the confirmation number begins with first 3 letters of first name and last initial plus 8 or 9 numbers then can link with MDE without ticket numbers. She thought Undercover Tourist provided that type of confirmation but to confirm with them before ordering.
