Linking reservations

Hi, hoping someone can answer my question, I am a DVC member with a reservation booked. I need to add on another few nights and am looking at buying points from another member, once the other member books the stay and gives me the reservation number can I link it to my existing booking to avoid having to change rooms?
Transfer of points is not an option on this occasion.

Both you and the other owner have to contact DVC and ask them to make a note on the reservations in hopes you don’t have to move. Each would include the other reservation number.

The CM would not being able to do it on both with one call as you don’t own the other one.

Also, be sure to mention at check in, even if you make the note so that if they didn’t, they can try,

They will tell you it is not guaranteed. I have never had a problem but I am the owner of both memberships.
