Linking Point & Cash Reservation?

I have a 12 day point reservation at SSR, followed by a 2 day cash reservation. I was wondering if it is possible to link these at check-in so that you don't have to move rooms? Both are for a studio.

As long as it is the same type of villa and you booked both through DVC MS, it should not be a problem. Just make the request noted on your ressie with them. If the cash portion was booked through CRO, however, you may need to change rooms. In both cases, you will at least need to go down to the front desk and check out and in so to speak.

As noted, they must be the same unit type but that's not as much an issue as it is at BWV. If it's a CRO cash room you can still request not to move but there are no guarantees and you'll have to check back in again on the change over day regardless.

Call MS & request they be linked. Easy as that (assuming you booked thru MS not CRO & they are same room type).

Don't wait until check-in.

Great, thanks for all the response! I did book the last 2 days through CRO with an AP discount. So I can't link through MS. But I'll request at check-in and hope for the best. I guess one factor is if I'm in a dedicated studio or a lock off. I'm assuming there are dedicated studios at SSR? This will be my first stay there
