Linking park tickets?

*Asking for a friend*---If you buy park tickets through Undercover Tourist how do they get linked to your My Disney Experience account so you can do the Fastpass+ prior to your trip? And how/when are they linked to your Magic Bands?

I had no problems linking my UT tickets. Go to MDE, click reservations and tickets, where it says tickets and passes click on link tickets, then add the ID number and assign to a person. It's really easy.

There will be a Ticket ID Number and either a bar code or QR code on the back of the ticket. They can either key in the ID Number or scan them using the mobile app to link the tickets to their MDE profile.

The Magic Bands can read them when they are linked to the MDX account. One day and multi-day tickets will become valid for park entry on the day they are first used. One day tickets expire at the end of the day. Multi-day tickets expire 14 days after first use (including the first day) unless they were purchased with the no-expiration option (if they were, the unused days don't expire).

Annual passes are active the day they are purchased (or the day the buyer trades in their voucher to receive the actual pass) and expire on the same date in the following year.

You don't link anything to the Magic Bands, all the bands do is read your MDX profile when scanned.
