Do you have to link a pass to my magic plus in order to get fastpasses or does an on site reservation do that? I'm looking to bridge a ticket so I can't add it to my magic plus.

You can only book FPs for the number of days on your linked ticket. My friend is running into this problem. She's stayin for two weeks, but has a ten day pass that she wants to upgrade to an AP. But since she only ha a ten day right now, she can only book 10 days worth of FPs ....

That is a problem. We are going for two weeks too. It also sounds as though bridging takes. Lot of time and energy. Are there huge savings to be realized?

Well ... It really depends on what someone's idea of huge is. If you're sitting on a ticket you bought a few years ago, you'd get the difference in increases between then and now plus any difference you may have from purchasing through a discounter like undercover tourist. Most people save $20 or $25 per ticket ... So that could be $100 or so for a family of four... But given the new FP system, I would recommend that everyone buy a ticket good for the number of days they really want.... Who wants to wait till they bridge or upgrade to see what time slots are left for the e ticket rides?
