Linking Memory Maker to Friends and Family

I just purchased Memory Maker for our trip in a week and I want to make sure I have this straight in my head:

I linked our memory maker reservation to our My Disney Magic online account. All of the other parties that are going with us are added to the same account under Friends and Family. So, if they scan their MagicBand, I should be able to use that under my Memory Maker, right?

Also, we signed up to pick up the Memory Maker at Will Call but if I have it linked to my account, do I even need to pick it up?
