Linking MDE accounts

Hi all,

My family is all over the place with MDE accounts. I originally managed my husband's and kids' plans under my acct. Now DH and DD1 created their own accts. Can anyone provide a step by step as to how we link accts? And do I then delete the accts I had created and managed for them? Thanks so much!

Do the following using the MDE website:

• Go to the Family & Friends List in YOUR MDE Account.
• For each of the profile you manage and that individual has since created their own MDE account, select 'Update'.
• An Update Information box will appear and then click 'Invite to connect'.
• Enter the email address they used to create their MDE account and click 'Yes'.

An email will be sent to the individual to approve the friend request.

And do I then delete the accts I had created and managed for them?

No. The managed profile will be automatically replaced with a connected friend entry by the steps above.

Thank you so much! I was having trouble with the app but I was able to follow This on my laptop. My daughter is still showing up twice in my list?

Sounds like you have a profile for her that you manage (will say 'Plans managed by me' next to name) plus one that is connected to her MDE account.

Select update on the one that does not say 'Plans managed by me' and then select 'Remove from this list'.
Repeat the steps in Post #2 for the profile of hers that you manage.
