Linking Magic Band to park tickets ...

Hi all ... We are coming to Orlando this July for a short trip prior to going to the Bahamas. We are staying at a Universal resort and doing those parks for 2 days, totally new for us. BUT we are doing 1 Disney day. We are going to do the HS TSL Early Morning magic on a Monday and then probably park hopping to another park mid day as we wont wanna be in HS all day. We always stay on Disney so we have no magic bands this time.

Although they are not needed I want to get them and get toy story decals just to make it more fun for my kids and Im obsessed with the bands anyways haha ... Its a surprise were going If I purchase magic bands online how do I then link them with my park tickets? I have the tickets already and they are showing on my account.

Thanks in advance - I dont wanna get there and them not work!!!

Do you have MB's from a previous stay? If so, you can simply use those and don't need to purchase new MB's. If you would like to purchase MB's, simply link those new MB's to each person's profile and the tickets will be accessible via those MB's.

You just input the MB numbers into your account and they’ll be linked. Or, as PP said, just use your old ones.

If you have MBs from your previous trip, I would just use them for your 1 Disney day. They should already be linked to your MDE account.
We have gotten many different MB stickers from ETSY to customize the MB and been happy with them (assuming you already have a MB from a previous trip).

Nothing links "to" your Magic Band, or even your tickets. Your Magic Band acts as a key to access your MDE account, where your reservations, tickets, etc. are stored. As long as you link your bands to the account – and have your tickets linked – it will work.

You do know you can use your old bands right?
If you want to buy new ones you can but I'm just letting you know.
The bands will have a code on the back of them.
Use the codes to link the bands to the people in MDE.
That's it.

Im not sure where any of our old ones are. Didn't keep good track of them. We usually always stay on site so we get new ones each trip. So basically all I'll do is add code to the new ones and it automatically pulls all the active park tickets and reservations.
