linking ap voucher to my disney experience

my brother and his wife just bought their annual passes and i wanted to try and link the vouchers to their account but for some reason its telling me sorry not at this time

I remember having the same issue last year. If I recall you need to use the number that is under the barcode or something like that (I think it was a pretty long number). I just remember to link the voucher wasn't obvious and the website didn't tell u what to enter but I know it can be done! Good luck!

Just an FYI, when I called to buy my APs the rep INSISTED that once I linked the APs to MDE, it would "start the clock" on the tickets. (I bought our tickets at the 60 day mark for our May trip, so I could schedule my FP+.) Obviously I didn't want to waste 2 months of our APs, so we ended up buying 10 day PHs instead... The plan at the time was to upgrade them when we got to FL but now we're thinking of just leaving the tickets as they are, and buying APs later in the year if and when we schedule out next trip.

Definitely not much of an incentive to buy APs! We are staying on site, we were buying tickets... And yet if those tickets were APs, it meant forfeiting the ability to schedule our FP+ ahead of time. Kind of silly IMHO.

I just linked my AP vouchers and used the will call number, it worked like a charm. I have used the camera on my phone to link up tickets in the past and it worked when typing the number in would not.

The clock will not start until you exchange the voucher for the actual pass. Hope that helps.

This makes me crazy because I argued just this point with the guy but he kept insisting that this was something new and linking APs to MDE would immediately start the clock. I specifically mentioned the vouchers too.

Thank you for this though! Makes me wish I'd just gotten the APs after all.

I bought one recently and linked the WILS code without any issue. But, they did not include this ticket when they released MagicBand orders into the system. And I cannot make FP+ reservations for our visit in 3 weeks for that pass either. So I gained nothing so far by linking in my purchase before I get there.

Thank you for this. My whole goal was to be able to schedule FP+ in advance so this is good to know.
