You can't link them but you can ask not to be moved. You'd put that request in through MS as well as CRO then repeat it when you check in. You will have to check in again on the change day.I'm using my DVC points for the first night of my trip and the rest of my trip is booked through the regular disney website. If I have the same resort/room type, are the reservations able to be linked so I don't have to switch rooms? Thanks for any advice!
Thanks for the advice and explanation! I'm going to give it a try.You can't link them but you can ask not to be moved. You'd put that request in through MS as well as CRO then repeat it when you check in. You will have to check in again on the change day.
Good luck, let us know how it goes. You stated you had the same resort/room type which helps if completely accurate. The one thing that might get you would be if you had a booking category that is not going to be available to cash guests like standard view or a lockoff 2 BR or similar. Thanks for the advice and explanation! I'm going to give it a try.
Not as long as your points reservations is NOT for near HH category.I booked a one bedroom at Old Key West using the fall passholder room discount. (Dec 18-24) I am booking my first night of the trip (Dec 17)with my DVC points. Do you think that will be an issue?
Good luck, I'm sure it will at OKW. Post back and let us know how it goes please.Great! Thank you very much for your help. You've given me great advice, and I'm hopeful it will work out using your suggestions.

Thanks, and I will plan on having it noted on both reservations. I'm hoping for the best and will follow up after my trip to update how it turned out!Make sure that if you call to request to stay in the same room that they note it on both of the reservations. I'm sure just about anyone in MS would already know to do that, but double check. If they only note 1 reservation, it could get missed.
