I have booked 4 nights at OKW through my dad (a DVC member) and 1 night at OKW though my boss (also a DVC member). Is there a way for me to link both reservations so I don't have to check out?

If you aren't a member there is nothing that you can do. You can have your Dad contact MS and give them the Boss reservation # and name, that might work. You also need to explain your reservations to the front desk when you get to OKW.

You may need to get your dad and your boss to both contact MS to ask to link the reservations. Even if they are linked, you will still have to check out and check in again. And have two magic bands.

Actually if the first person on the reservation is the same- they might link it automatically. That's what happened to my friend and I in November. I booked 2 nights with mine and she booked the 3rd with her membership. Both reservations had my husband as the first person. When we went to check in(before we got a chance to mention) the cast member said "we have you here for 3nights and 4days". Both reservations were for the same type of room at BWV 1bed-standard.so make sure the 1st name is the same on both Reservations.

Otherwise you'll need both your dad and your boss to authorize the linking. Are you an associate member on your dad's membership? Then you can call while your boss is around.

I am not an associate on the membership. Do they both need to call at the same time or can the call anytime to connect the memberships?

Avoiding 2 sets of magic bands would make life much easier. If I can't do that, how will I know which set is for which reservation?

The room type for both reservations in the same, if that makes a difference.

The magic bands are linked to your MDE account. We recently did a split stay and both sets worked for us.

It won't matter at all. I assume you've put the reservations onto your "my disney experience" account. That's what will trigger the MBs to be sent, and since the reservations have different confirmation numbers you will be sent two. Or given two at checkins.

And it doesn't matter. I now have 6 MBs and I can and do use them interchangeably, depending on what color I want to wear.

Yes, everything is in MDE. I was worried that I would have to keep track of leftover park ticket days on each MB.

I would love to just be able to stay in the same room after check-in #1, but I guess I will need to talk to the front desk at that point and see.

There are no tickets, no dining plans, no Fastpasses, no real anything on each Magicband.

The Magicband is just a link to your account, and all that info is held in your account.

I had 4 sets last trip. I brought 2 compete sets in case we lost a Magicband. I hadn't thought about the "co-coordinating outfit" angle!

I'm now in the same situation, having 2 reservations for 2 nights each at OKW. I am a DVC member and made one reservation with points I own. The other 2 night reservation is with points "rented" from one of the brokers.

I have not put the reservations into MDE yet.

Is there any way I can combine or modify these 2 into one single reservation? Same resort, consecutive nights, same room type.

I called Member Services since I also have am about to have one night of my reservation under someone else's account. MS said to be sure the names were the same on both reservations, and I can call and link them together, and don't need to have the other DVC owner call too. I hope it works!
