I rented Disney Vacation Club points for the Beach Club where I was able to get back to back reservations for a total of seven nights in a 2 Bedroom unit. Any advise what I need to do to make this work? Will I likely be forced to change rooms even though the reservations are for the same unit? Enlighten me with your wisdom. I have always wanted to stay here and it seemed the only way to book the dates. Trying to determine what mess I might be in. Thanks!

You will be more successful if you go to FD , not online. FD may have notice same people on both res but best to do ci in person

A few years ago, we had a back to back reservation for a 3 BR at VGC. We did not have to change rooms, but when we checked in for the initial reservation, the FD told us that we would need to come down physically check out and check back in on the day our reservation switched over. They did tell us that there was a chance we would have to change rooms, but we did not have to. Hoping same for you.

Thanks! I already ran into one unexpected problem with magic bands. I ordered a set tied to the first reservation then received a message that the order had an issue. I went in and fixed the issue only to learn a second order was placed for the second reservation. I only need one set. Going to call My Disney Experience to see I can get this fixed. Too confusing with two sets... plus pricey.

What you need to do is have the owner of each reservation contact MS..email or chat if they don’t want to wait on hold…and give them the other reservation number to note they are a continuing reservation.

This way, the room assigners will know now ahead of time so you can stay in the same room..again, assuming both the 2 bedrooms are indeed the same type.

When you get there, double check with the front desk to confirm you are booked without having to move as if not, they may be able to fix it.

Magic bands are linked to you, not to your reservation. Any band linked to you will work for all purposes, it doesn't matter how it was ordered.

We did this a few times in the past. They will be more than happy to not move you(again assuming same room type) as they wont have to flip the room.

You may experience issues with your magic band for a while during the cutover day and even get locked out of you room for a bit. A quick trip to the FD can fix this. They are literally checking you out of room and into another even if its is still the same room, the computer work still has to be done.
