Link to Disney's cabana info. Can't find one.

I've looked all over the Disney site for info concerning the cabanas on Castaway Cay and can't find anything. I know it's there, just cant seem to find it. Help!!

There is no info on the Cabanas on the DCL website. I even called them and asked. The CM I was talking to even got an IT guy and asked him where it was. They both confirmed that there is no info on their official website.

diznymom, Thanks. I wonder why no info? I remember seeing something two years ago before our last cruise.

Floridatinaherb, I just wanted to see if my memory was correct and/or if anything regarding cabanas had changed in any way. This is our retirement cruise and anniversary (40) as well.

Only thing I know has changed about them in the last few years is the price. Expensive before and atrociously spendy now.

Private Beach Cabanas

Castaway Cay offers guests the luxury of renting one of 20 private cabanas. These 325-square-foot cabanas are divided between Castaway Family Beach and Serenity Bay Beach. On the family beach, the cabanas are located on the far side of the beach, offering a little more seclusion, along with a great view of the ship from the cabana's front deck.

Cabanas are furnished with cushioned chairs, chaise lounges, side tables and a dining table. Also included are a refrigerator, lockable storage unit, outside fresh water shower and a shaded deck. When you rent a beach cabana, you will receive non-alcoholic beverages, suntan lotion and towels. Other packages with special services, food and beverage options are available. For an additional fee, guests can also reserve the services of a private cabana host.

Cabanas can be reserved online ahead of time or at the Port Adventures desk while onboard the ship. They will hold a maximum of 6 guests. On the Family Beach, they can be rented for $549 per day (Seasonal price of $599 is in effect from the April 22 sailing through the September 24, 2016 sailing, but guests who booked before this price increase will have their original price honored.)

The Serenity Bay Beach cabanas are $399.

A Grand Family Cabana is available and can hold up to 16 guests. The price for 10 guests is $966.43, but 6 more can be added for $53.75 per person. This cannot be booked online.

There are 25 cabanas now (I've read). Most are on the family beach, including the Grand Family Cabana. The rest are on Serenity Bay beach.

I was curious how many people they allow in the Serenity Bay cabanas.

Congrats on your retirement and anniversary! Our next cruise (June 2017) is my retirement from the military cruise and we are definitely getting a cabana this time because DS and DD are with us. We did the cabanas at Serenity Bay last year and it was completely unnecessary, I think we were the only people there and the beach wasn't even that crowded anyways!
