Lining up with Candlelight Processional dining package

Im planning on getting in line 45 minutes early. I have a 6:45pm showing on the 27th with Steven Curtis Chapman. I hioe this is early enough to secure good seating

Do you really think Anthony Mackie will be popular? Honestly, I had no idea who he was and now i'm nervous I'll have to get a seat more than the 45-60 minutes ahead of time than I was planning. I have a CP package for the 5pm show...

WDW truism #1...
It is better to arrive far too early, than to arrive one minute too late.

I could be wrong. I've only been to the CP once when NPH was the narrator. But I know he's not the only one who's really popular. Anthony Mackie might not be as well known as others but he was in Captain America movies & w/the popularity of those & the Avengers movies, I was thinking he might draw a pretty large crowd. It's all just my own speculation, though.

Just be thankful you will be in the CP package line. Here's a couple pictures of the lines for those without a package back in early December 2014:

I know a lot of people that are excited for Mackie.

I make this line every year, multiple times but I'm never this far back cause I wait for hours, but I'm a local and candlelight is the only reason I go

I thought it was a bit much to pay for the CP package & then Still have to wait for 45 minutes to an hour in line. Then I saw the show for the first time & saw the standby line & it made more sense.

I do wonder how long people really wait in the standby line for the popular narrators. 1/2 a day? More than that? Now that is dedication. :)

I've waited from 11am for narrators like Nph. And i have not been the first in line, that's for the first show
I should say that my son and daughter have performed with their school choir and that's why I go and wait so long, to be able to see them.

What time do they begin seating those WITH TICKETS? We are a party of 10 and before reading this thread, I figured we would line up around 4:30 for NPH. Now I guess I need to rethink that plan.

We have a party of 13, can a few of us hold spots in line for the others or is this frowned upon? We have an 18 month old in line so I imagine someone will be out with her somewhere.

For the dining package, they say 45 min early, but that also includes the time for them to load the theater......so you might only be in line for 15-20 min......it might be more complicated to leave the line and return rather than just sticking it out for 20 or so minutes....

The post you responded to is from last year.
