Lining up for park parking

If you are driving to the parks every day is it safe to say that you can line up at the toll booth 45 minutes prior to park opening?

I can see 45 minutes prior to opening for AK, HS and Epcot but is that still the case for MK since you have to take other transportation from the Ticket / Transportation center to the gate at MK.

Also the trams aren't running, correct? So you would have to walk from the lot to the gate. Is there preferred parking at HS? Does it get you that much closer to the gate?

You can line up an hour prior at dhs and mk and about 45 for ep and ak
There's preferred parking in all parks, it gets you a tad closer but not by much if you are rope dropping
No trams are running

Last Friday (Oct, 9) we rope dropped HS. They were making cars turn around up to 8:45, then they let us line up until 9:00, then they started letting cars through. People were stopped in the road about 200 yards from the turnaround so they wouldn't get shuffled through. They weren't clearing the right side much, but they cleared out the left lane right up to 8:45. We rolled in from I4 at about 8:35-8:40 and I noticed cars being sent through the turnaround and about 50 cars on the side of the road, in medians, and in some lanes stopped so I just stopped in my lane (second from left) right past the merge point from Victory Way. A few cars passed us and got turned around but people figured out pretty quick that we could just park and they weren't going to come after us. We were 3rd in our row at the parking booth and were off Runaway Railway by 9:25.

I don't think so. The directions for Uber drivers indicate the drop-off zone doesn't officially open until 9:30am. I think the Ubers also go through the toll booth, but I'm not positive on that.

Some people have been getting dropped off near the park and walked, like the Speedway gas station near Boardwalk for DHS or outside Contempo for MK. Near Contempo seems trickier though.
