Lingering in Pandora

I have a trip planned with my dad for later September, when sunset should be about 7:20. Seeing Pandora at night is something he really wants to do, but park close is likely to be 7:00. I know about the jump in line last minute trick for staying beyond park close, but what about just lingering in the area? If we get a snack at 6:45 and then just wander around the land, how long will cast members allow us to stay?

If you’re not in line for an attraction then guests will be encouraged to head to the front of the park at 7:00.

I would recommend getting in line for FoP or Na’vi right before park close to have the best opportunity to see it wharf it’s darker.

We are perpetual park lingerers as I'm in no rush to ever head out with the crowd. Getting in line for one of the Pandora rides will definitely ensure you're out of the park later than most. Do keep in mind though that once you exit the ride, you may be ushered out. It really just depends on the day and crowds.

Remember, the Cast still has a lot to do once guests are cleared from the area. Most are at the end of a long hot day and want to get their closing checklists done and go home. It can take awhile to power down and close a ride and have it ready to turn over to maintenance. Don't be that person and linger too long... Enjoy it but be respectful of the Cast.
