Lindfields- Whats it like?

Hi Everyone
We are off to lindfields in July/August, it was originally going to be Clear Creek but the travel company have changed the booking. Anyway I dont know a lot about lindfields, I know its off the 192 and nearer to WDW than Clear Creek.

So please help me and let me know how far it is to the nearest supermarket and restaurants. Also what the actual area is like.

we stayed at lindfields in 2000, and found it ideal for our needs. it was close to shops and restaurants etc and was only a short drive to disney, although it was sometimes very busy in the morning as we tried to get onto the 192. i would pick that community again if i had the choice. although it is an older community its villas are very much up to standard.

Lindfields is pretty well situated. You're only a few minutes from a Publix supermarket and various restaurants on the 192. When heading to the parks in the morning you can take the "back door" route via the Animal Kingdom and miss most of the traffic queues that can build up on the 192 heading towards the main Disney entrance route.

I haven't stayed there myself, but I know it's a good location and the people I do know that have stayed there have always been very happy.

Good location, as mentioned older properties, but still 100% in cleanliness, and having everything you need.

Gets my vote LOL(were there in May 2005), and easter 2006(possibly).

We stayed at Lindfields in 1999, 1st trip and really liked the area, close to supermarkets, restaurants etc. We requested Lindfields for our 2nd trip in 2000 but were allocated Indian Ridge Oaks - I much preferred Lindfields. Since then we've booked our own villas as I didn't want to be disappointed with a change of area etc. You'll enjoy the Lindfields area. Have a great time.
