Limo Question

Hello,
We have used Tiffany Towncar service for several years and have been very happy with their service. In May, I took my mom and aunt to WDW for a long weekend and surprised them with a Limo instead of the towncar. The tip is included in the price. I had to pay up front. The limo driver was not very good.

My question is has anyone that has used the limo service before with tip already included in the total price also tipped more? Does that make sense. I'm asking because when he dropped us off at MCO, I didn't tip him because I had already paid the 18% up front and I didn't feel I needed to tip more, especially since he wasn't that good. He seemed a little miffed that I didn't tip him at the airport.

If you tipped up front, don't tip again. Just remind the driver the tip was in the payment made up front.

We used Tiffany Town Car Service in 2005. The fee was paid up front but I tipped the driver both times. I considered the tip payment for handling our luggage which he did both times - therefore a tip each way. The tip was not included in the fee.

Limo companies that add on a tip usually add 20%. Sometimes the second driver is a fill in, just say something like your boss added on a gratuity make sure he doesn't stiff you.

But if you added on the 18% tip you should have divided the tip in half and given half to each driver. The first driver was happy you tipped high, he isn't going to share the tip with the second driver. If you put the tip on a cc you might have said something like I added on an 18% tip when I paid, make sure you get your share but that isn't the best way of handling it.
