Hey gals, so I'm working on my worksheet and I got stumped at transportation.

While I would love to have CC, its not in the budget - so we're just going to use their limo service for the ceremony. All our guests are staying off property in time shares, and we're staying at AKL.

Here's the question part: The ceremony is at SPB at 2:30, when do I have the limo pick up DF and me (seperate)... I don't want him to sneak a peak before the big reveal! Plus, I'm not sure where I will get ready.... ack!

FOr ours, df and family were picked up at 1:15, then the limo came for me at 1:45 (off property) and dropped me off at the WP around 2:10. Our ceremony was at 2:30

It's funny you started this thread! It's the same issue I've been dealing with...I just emailed my wedding worksheet and talked with my WC this morning. We too are staying at the AKL. She has the limo picking up my hubby at the Shades of Green at 1:15, then off to the AKL to pick me up and we should be at the YC at 2:00, Ceremony starts at 2:30 p.m. Hope that helps! :goodvibes

roo - thanks!!

Have you stayed at AKL before? We haven't, but we're really excited...

I'm sure I've asked this before, but I've forgotten...

Does anyone know how many people the limo seats?

Was thinking it could do a couple of trips, firstly pick up the groom and guests and take them to the ceremony site, then me, my dad and the bridesmaids.....

(There'll only be about 12 of us in total)

Mind you, with us hoping for a 2.30pm ceremony, it might be just as easy to ask everyone to make their own way to Sea Breeze Pointe / start at a lounge/bar at the BW (is there one?) and then just have the limo collect the "aisle party". Hmmm but perhaps people won't want to roam around the World in wedding outfits. But then they won't want to stay at their hotels all morning doing nothing waiting to be picked up - what could they do for a morning though when they need to be in posh outfits though??

Confused now! And all I really initially wanted to know was how many a limo seats!:rotfl:

our limo holds 8 and its doing one trip for the men to get them to the gf for photos then coming back to get the girls. then we are having the landau and then the limo will shuttle the bridal party to the grand for the reception

OMG! Have I stayed there? Well, let's see we go to Disney about 6 times per year, at least half the time we stay at the AKL! It is our absolute fav resort, we like it over the more expensive YC and GF. Wait to you "smell" the resort, yes "smell!" Ask anyone that has stayed at the AKL and they will tell you how great the smell is, it's very addictive! ;) You will love it! Congrats! :goodvibes

Mmm I love the AKL smell. :lovestruc I thought I was the only one who noticed it. DF had no clue what I was talking about.

:cool1: rooz -- awesome! we're so excited!!! what does it smell like? :lmao:

Our limo also seats 8.

I think i finally figured it out: We're going to do a run to pick up the guys (5) off site (timeshare in kissimee) and then pick up me and the girls (7) at AKL. Still trying to figure out times. I think it'll pick the boys up around 1:15, and then us -- does anyone know how long it takes to get from AKL to SBP? Where do my other guests park? Boardwalk resort?

Ask your Wedding Coordinator about the times, I was just as confused and when I told Amy what I was trying to do, she knew actually what time everyone should be picked up! :thumbsup2
