Hi,

We were thinking of treating ourselves to a limousine to take us from Orlando International to the Beach Club and also one to take us from Orlando to Cape Canaveral.

Anybody got any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Richard. :)

Richard i used Quicksilver Tours and Transportation in October and found them to be 1st class - just had a quick look at their prices -- Orlando International to the Beach Club Downtown Disney Resorts/Lake Buena Vista $ 44.90 ( one way ) $ 79.90 ( return )

and from WDW to Port Canaveral ( i'm not sure if cape Canaveral is shorter lol ) $ 190.00 return

I think it might be a bit cheaper if you email them - plus the do give you a few extras included in the price

Free 30 minutes grocery stop (for round trips only)

A Polaroid picture of you and your party to keep as a souvenir. (Subject to availability)

A free 10 minutes long distance or 5 minutes international call

No cancellation fees.

No late or early pick-up fees.

24 hours online reservations.

Thanks, JJ!

Duh, I meant Port Canaveral! All the planning is getting to me...

Thanks again I'll send them an email.

I used Quicksilver too and thought they were fab for all the reasons that JJ posted above. I know that they also do Limo pick ups as well as the regular town car service.

we've always used Happylimo and found them really good too:)

Just back yesterday & used Quicksilver town car MCO to/from Dolphin. They were wonderful. Our arrival was delayed but our driver was there waiting for us and could not have been more pleasant. Also had our choice of grocery stop- ended up at Winn Dixie. I will definitely use them again.

We used Quicksilver too.

However I wasn't too impressed when they were the best part of an hour late picking us up from DTD in the early hours of the morning NY. Should of collected us at 2am came just before 3am. No explanation or anything. Wouldn't honour our stop off for munchies either.

Happy limo for us, and they were great.

We'd use them again!

Hi Richard - we've used Tiffany Towncars and Fl Tours for round trips from the airport to the resort. Lurve those Lincolns and both clean, reliable and efficient.

I preferred Fl Tours - found the driver very helpful with luggage, and liked the fact that they called us two days before we were leaving to confirm pick up time for the airport.

In both cases you are met in the luggage claim and it's a stress free way to start the holiday. ( I've seen several posts where Happy Limo needed to be called as they weren't waiting at luggage claim when the people arrived as arranged. I would not like to have to do that after the long flight).

Check Fl Tours for a costing for your trip at www.fltours.com - if a price isn't listed for your Port Canaveral trip, e-mail them.

Happy Limo were great, word of advice thou. If you are paying cash get some sort of receipt as we paid for our return trip on arrival and when we was collected to return to the airport the driver said there was a problem with my credit card ??? it was only after i talked through what had happened he started to remember me paying him the cash, u have to rely on teh driver going back into the office and marking your payment into the book/log

lucky it was the same driver

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone!

In the end we booked Southern Elegance Limousines (www.southernelegancelimousines.com) as they were the cheapest we could find - $165 return from Airport to WDW and not much more for Orlando - Port Canaveral.

Thanks again!
